Resolved Question: Best Place to live not far from Reading, but close to London?
Dear yahoo members I would be grateful if you could possibly assist me with some information: My husband and I are young hard working professionals with no children, he is starting a new job in Reading and we have to relocate quite soon. We are looking for a nice area to live, not far from Reading, but with good transport links to London because I will be transferred there in the future. My husband also travels to London on a weekly basis (Mondays) because he is doing a course. The place does not need to be very close to Reading, our priority is to find a nice place to live: low crime rates, lively, with plenty of amenities, restaurants, coffee shops, cultural activity, cinemas and gyms (we like sports). We are not looking to live in a village; but, we would like to live in a city close to the countryside as well. The cost of the place is not an issue because we are willing to spend extra in order to have a more pleasant stay. We already made a mistake of rushing to live in one place in order to save money; the place is very boring and sadly I was assaulted by youngsters twice. After researching and we found: Wokingham, Guildford, Woking, Surrey Heath, Surbiton, Sutton and Epsom. It seems that the place closest to our taste would be Guildford. But were wondering if there are better alternatives. Any help would be most appreciated moreResolved Question: Woking Ambassador Cinema?
