Okay, so it's the summer holidays in the UK, and two of my girl friends and I arranged to go the cinema's on Thursday, this was on the Monday. We go to different schools, so we don't see each other much now, though we were good friends in Junior school. We talked about it [on MSN] and arranged what film to see, and what day. By the Wednesday, no definite arrangements had been made, so i asked one of my friends again. After me asking for details several times, it had turned out that they were having some sleepover instead, and basically they'd ditched me and the cinema idea. I feel kinda angry & annoyed, as we don't see each other much, and I was looking forward to it. And it wasn't even my idea to go the cinema's, it was one the two's ideas. Plus i turned down another offer to go out, so yeah i's kinda stuck with nothing to do. Is it okay for me to feel like this? What should I say to my friends about it? moreVoting Question: Does anyone know a website where I can watch movies for free?

I asked this question a few days ago: http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20100815155008AA9k119 (please read it, its the only way you'll understand this question) and at the time i was still waiting for a response to her text. Well now she replied and she was just making up lies and excuses for her being a lousy friend. 1) She said the other girl wrote her on the facebook list first LIE 2) She said 'oh my parents work so blah blah blah' Yes andd?? My parents have worked full time all my life. I dont even see my mum untill 7 most nights! It's no excuse. So I replied :I dont want you to take me with you on holiday or something, how about to the cinema like you invite those other random people all the time. And the facebook thing is a bit of a slap in the face because after all i have done for you, you still dont even like me enough to write me on a list. Its not so much about the list its the fact that its kind of a list of your best friends and im not on there, wheras if i made a list like that you would always be at the top of it... The problem is that now she hates ME and wont even talk to ME when I haven't done anyting wrong.. Or have I?? I don't like the way she is treating me but I dont want to lose another friend, how can I sort this out without apologising because I dont feel I have dont anything wrong. Opinions & solutions please! P.S. Thank you in advance for reading this and the other question I really appreciate it! moreVoting Question: Weres nice to move UK?

I just received this import of a USA DVD I got of Amazon. I have 3 DVD players but none of them will take the DVD due to some Region protection. The US DVDs take (1) and the UK DVDs take (2). I just found that there is a way on most DVDs that you can unlock them by pressing certain buttons on the remote. Here are the DVD players I have below. 1. Toshiba D-VR3 - Had since 2003 Christmas as I got it as a present. This one takes the old videos as well. 2. Sony RDR-HX525 - Got in 2006 with the new HD ready TV. 3. Samsung HT-X30 - Which is a cinema system DVD player. There are all the DVD players I have. I'm 15 and I'm helping to raise funds for SPCA as part of some competition. I've been raising funds for 2 months and all I've got is 2000++ (including the original $1600 seed funding). The competition's ending in a month and I want to make at least 5000. I feel really guilty because the spca people have been so helpful but the results are... dismal. btw I'm not from UK =) Is there any way to reach my target within a month? I'm thinking of organising an event, something that is easy enough to organise and attractive enough for people to come. I thought of an outdoor movie marathon but the weather might be unpredictable and tentage costs a bomb. a movie marathon in the cinema wouldn't be popular right? So I really have no idea. Any ideas people? Thank you in advance! =) moreResolved Question: Why am i bullied, and people don't like me?
Hi Guys, I deleted my Facebook account tonight because this kid was saying inappropriate and out of control things, which gave me the icing on the cake to delete the account. I'm a 14 year old boy, i absolutely love people to chat to and mix with. I'm a lovely lad who justs wants wonderful friends and people to be around with. I cant have it. I get bullied and sometimes names which don't occur to me. I'm really struggling at the moment with friends. I do speak to people on msn etc, but they never ask me to go out to the city centre, park, cinema etc. I need people like that. I ask people to come out alot to, but they always say im doing this, i'm doing that. I've asked my mum and dad about it, they say people get jealous, like im really good at football like i was in the Cardiff City Development team last season and in UWIC Cardiff Academy. Alot of people said i'm really handsome and good looking. I try and speak to other people in facebook, like i'm really kind to them, but they just answer back 'yes, no, dunno, maybe' like really blunt answers. I know one guy, he has absolutely loads of friends out of nowhere, and he hasn't got a great personality, he's just immature and acts silly. And the other boys in my school who are popular and known act silly, and all of the girls like them? I desperately need new friends to have a great life and enjoy it, at the moment, its not working. Also, when im bullied, im sensitive to people's critisizms to me. And it seriously lowers my confidence, and that means i can't perform well in football games. I have alot of technical skill, and like even alot of people have said i'm crap at football, and another thing is that if there was a really bad player, these people wouldn't say anything, but because im really good they make inappropriate comments? But when im high on confidence, i perform really well because i'm happy, and enjoy the game better. Like my old mates in school (there was a group of 5 of us) 2 went against me because they thought 'i cared about football too much'? Would you call that jealousy? Older people have said i'm very grown up, and speak very politely and mature to them. But with my life at the moment, i'm really struggling. Thankyou for you're support. Adam, Wales, UK moreResolved Question: Where should I take a girl on a first date?
I've been in a relationship for the last few years and am now single. I've decided to start dating again and a girl I know has made it quite clear that she would go on a date with me. I would really like to impress her by doing something a little different from the norm: Cinema - Too impersonal. Dinner - Nice idea but a little cliche. I've known her a couple of years in a friend capacity and know that any dates she has been on in that time have pretty much all taken her to one of these 2 places. Which is why I'd like to do something different. I'm 26 and she is 22 and it has been a long time since I have done this! I'm open to any suggestions really, however, I do live in a decent sized town in Lincolnshire (UK) but there really isn't much around here that you would find in the bigger cities. Hi all I'm a newbie to all this & from the UK don't know if this makes a difference or not but I have a 17 year old daughter who was diagnosed late (aged 15 ) with ADHD predominantly hyperactive...at 16 she had a psychotic breakdown & was prescribed anti-psychotics,she was very ill & had to go in & out of hospital for various physical problems..after 3 months she was prescribed Prozac alongside the anti-psychotics after a month these were stopped. She is now taking Quetiapine to control voice & visual hallucinations which seem to be working well. The problem is as a parent I'm not being told anything other than she has many different symptoms which is making a diagnosis hard. Her paranoia is or was mainly focused on people who drank & took drugs, she lost many a friend because of her deep rooted hatred of both...the problem I have is I've since found out she's doing both!! I have tried until I'm blue in the face to tell her care workers but they refuse to listen to me & brush off everything I've said because they choose to believe my daughter over me! She is very, very clever, has an answer for everything & every bit of evidence I present to them makes me look like I don't believe she's mentally ill, which isn't the case although she has done things which i believe shes done for her own good...for instance, she now lives in a flat for people in her situation, something she has wanted to do since she was 15,she is getting benefits, although she has fantastic G.C.S.E results.. so a lot of things do look like shes playing the system. I understand that, that in itself isn't right but the lies she tells & convinces others of is incredible...How am I ever going to convince them that shes smarter than they think! She really does play such a good game with them, they all think she's great & that shes coping really well with her illness when in fact seeing as she's my child & I know her better than anyone...is playing a fantastic game with them...please help x She has delusions too, thinks she's God's gift, likes to think she's more intelligent than she is & firmly believes that somewhere out there in the big wide World is a cinema where people watch her life on a daily basis, this is also deep rooted from an early age,so much so that the film 'The Trueman show-Jim Carey' was made after she had these ideas & all this film did was to convince her that her delusion is true! She has only recently 6 months ago revealed this to us as parents but it now explains why she would do random things such as skip down the road,or hop etc...in her words...to give the viewer something to watch?! moreResolved Question: Can anyone tell me if any of this means multiregional?

Okay, bit of a challenge. I'm trying to find at least the title, if not a copy of a film from earlier than 1980. I've got NO idea what it was called the following are the "facts" that I remember about the film. Please bear in mind that I only saw the film once, it was 30 years ago when I was 10 - BUT it made a big impression on me... 1) Werewolf film 2) Comedy (Probably best described as a farce) 3) B-Movie (As probably most of them were) 4) It was the "supporting" film to Airplane! on original theatrical release in the UK, certainly at our cinema in Leicestershire (this is where I saw it) 5) Black and white 6) Involved the werewolf stealing strings of sausages from old-fashioned wicker baskets, probably attached to bicycles ridden by little old ladies - this last point I'm not 100% on... That's about all I've got to go on I'm afraid. The reason I'm trying to find it is I am having a 40th Birthday celebration and I want to try to recreate the cinema visit we had when I was a lad of 10 to see Airplane! as exactly as I could. I've managed to secure the original cinema for the afternoon, and Airplane! Just trying to get it all perfect. Many thanks in advance if you've got ideas :) Thanks to the answers so far... I'll have a look at Merton's shows, cheers. I seem to remember it might have been a silent movie, but not 100% on that either. I doubt it was American Werewolf in London, as I believe that would've been more "A" movie and I think would've been more like an A certificate (was that what it was back in the day?) I was 11 at the time at the most ;) moreResolved Question: will asia cup 2010 be broadcated in uk?
